Soengas, Jesús

Jesús is a lawyer specialized in Commercial Law, Corporate Law and New Technologies.

He began his studies in Computer Engineering at Universidad Simón Bolívar in Caracas (Venezuela). He is a graduate in Law from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Getafe), with a special inclination towards Commercial Law and International Law. He was the Student Representative of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences. He studied the Master of Access to the Legal Profession at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Additionally, he is an Expert in Competition Law (antitrust) by the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

He has participated in different trainings in law firms on M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions), highlighting Hogan Lovells and Cuatrecasas.

His professional career has been specialized in Commercial and Corporate Law, as well as in New Technologies. He has been part of the Civil and Commercial Law team of Casajuana Abogados. Subsequently, he has been in the Corporate and M&A department of Letslaw and RSM Spain, helping especially entrepreneurs, ventures, Startups and digital businesses.

Jesús provides national and international advice on corporate governance, the sale and purchase of companies, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements, conducting Due Diligences, incorporation of companies, drafting specialized contracts, adapting digital businesses, among others.
